I am a work-at-home mom. I design and create a line of original sewing patterns – Muse Patterns and I do the sewing and production work for an accessories company based out of San Francisco (even though I live in LA) called Cookie & the Dude. And I JUST added a new line of handmade baby toys on my etsy shop.

In my spare time I try to be as creative as possible with the energy I have left over from working, being a mom and being a wife to a very wonderful, talented, creative and inspiring husband.

I love to surf the internet looking for new and inspiring designers & craftspeople. But my fascination doesn’t end with just looking at the beautiful things they make. I have always been intrigued by the story behind the work and how they came to be at the place they are at.

This fascination and desire to uncover the story is the inspiration behind “Handpicked Handmade”. I intend to bring to you new and exciting crafts and designs AND tell you a little bit about the person/people who make them.
I hope you enjoy.
